After undergoing intermittent construction, you'll be excited to hear that Heisler Park in Laguna Beach has recently reopened newly developed areas including the "Breaching Whale" sculpture created by Jon Seeman, which has become the centerpiece for the new meeting area where the shuffleboard courts previously were.

Additional improvements that were part of the masterplan included, resurfacing walkways with concrete, as well as improving lighting and drainage. Earlier improvements included renovations at Rockpile and Picnic Beach.

The entire renovation cost approximately $7.5 million which was funded with contributions by both the city and multiple sources of grant funding.
