Table Rock Beach:
Laguna Beach’s Secret Treasure

The first time I walked down the wooden stairs to Table Rock Beach- I had no idea that I was about to stumble on Laguna Beach’s MOST BEAUTIFUL PUBLIC BEACH. As I reached the bottom of the long staircase and stepped through the tall bamboo onto the coarse-sand of this tiny beach… I entered into a coastal paradise. Table Rock Beach is without a doubt- the most beautiful beach in Laguna.

On the north-side are tall rock wall formations, accentuating the waves breaking right on the shore. To the south, loom sandstone walls, and rock outcroppings with a view through the arch into Thousand Steps Beach.

The waves break right onto shore, drawing the best local skimboarders- who provide non-stop entertainment with their acrobatic crashes into the pounding surf.

If you only have time to visit one beach in Laguna… experience Table Rock Beach.

The rock wall behind the beach creates a natural rock overhang, which provides shade on sunny days.Table Rock Beach in Laguna Beach, California

Climbing the rocks is prohibited for safety, so you can swim around if you like and enjoy your own little private beach! The incredible homes above don't even have stair access!
The lifeguards will definitely let you know that climbing on the rocks and/or jumping from the rocks is prohibited. But as you can see, after the guards have gone home for the evening, some locals just can't resist the adrenaline surge that comes with the jump!Table Rock Beach in Laguna Beach, California
