There are so many amazing Laguna Beach art galleries that it would take months to explore them all! Most people are aware of the dense collections of beautiful galleries in the historic downtown distric, but there are also many art galleries and private artist studios along Coast Highway and tucked away along the side-streets of Laguna Beach!

Laguna Beach Art Walk
On the first Thursday of each month, Laguna Beach art galleries and artists host the Laguna Beach Art Walk. During this event, many art galleries stay open later than usual (6:00pm - 9:00pm) and visitors walk from gallery to gallery throughout town exploring various artworks on display.
Each month there are featured exhibitions and often public dedications of art for visitors to come appreciate.

Laguna Beach Art Museum

Laguna College of Art and Design
Another example of the love for Laguna Beach art can be seen as you drive through Laguna Canyon toward the ocean. The statues of the female form are an unmistakable marker that you've found the Laguna College of Art and Design (LACD).The Laguna College of Art and Design was established in 1961 to foster creativity and prepare artists for their future careers in art. The program currently offers five nationally accredited undergraduate programs and a graduate study which awards a Master of Fine Arts in Painting.
The college promotes students works at the Ettinger Gallery which is located on the LCAD property. These exhibits are usually free of charge to the public, and are available for viewing monday thru friday 9:00am to 5:00pm and Saturdays 9:00am to 4:00pm.

Laguna Beach Art Classes and Workshops
The Laguna Beach Art Community continually offers classes to help you develop your artistic talent. If you are looking for art classes but aren't ready to enroll full-time at the Laguna College of Art and Design, there are still plenty of options for you to hone your skills and learn from local masters!
- The Festival of the Arts offers various workshops throughout the year. During 2010 classes were available in ceramics and printmaking.
- The Sawdust Festival offers multiple series on various techniques including: painting with acrylics, glass blowing, oil painting, watercolors, and mixed media!
- The Laguna Beach Alliance for the Arts also hosts multiple events including dedicated interactive painting programs at the tidepools for children, art programs for seniors, and even singing coaching with professional music educators.
